Spring Break 2012 Day 9.

I guess my spring break isn't as productive as it would be if I went back over the seas. No people to be dragged along to go for an adventure with me. ADFPs off for spring break, AUSMATs and A-Levels are busy with their finals preparation so I spent my day somewhere secluded in le residential college.

Went through some (a lot of) photos and videos in my laptop. They really brought back a lot of memories, I can't stop smiling and became a little narcissistic for a while.  Now I'm indecisive about which photos that I should share with you, my awesome readers. I guess we'll have to find out later on.

Wishing the best for all INTEC A-Level exam candidates for  your finals!

I do hope that this won't happen tomorrow or any other days during your exams.
I had to make some changes since I have to consider that my readers are about of all ages. Sorry.

And an early welcome back and also all the best for Summer Semester 2012 for all ADFPs and ACTPs.

Everyone's talking about The Avengers and my awkward moment where I don't even bother to go watch it. Like I mentioned before, I have no one to drag along to do all those activities, unless I went back over the seas for Spring Break 2012.

Can't do much since school starts on Wednesday. Might as well enjoy this free time while it lasts.

Spring Break 2012 Day 8.

Basically, I didn't do much today  but I did contributed to the Bersih thingy. Yup. I bersihed my clothes since I didn't do laundry for 5 days due to camp. Spent the whole morning sleeping while waiting for le laundry and in the afternoon till late evening with le tomes and le internet.

Enough about that. I decided to share part of my experiences before, during and after BTN.

Before going for camp, it was Spring Semester 2012 finals. I rarely had time to search for blogs of previous participants' just to get a rough idea about the whole thing and eventually I found one. Just one blog. Thank you Blogger!

I attended Program Transformasi Mahasiswa Luar Negara at Kem Bina Negara Meru, Klang from 23-27 April 2012 with almost all of INTEC MARA ADFP students, JPA ACTP seniors and JPA ADFP students.

Don't ask me for directions. I'd like to thank INTEC for providing buses to the camp site even though there were some of us who drove and hitch rides and managed to arrive in time.

Sorry, no photos at all since the whole campsite is a protected zone.

Before camp:
We were given a letter from MARA regarding this camp. There were checklists collated with the letter. I spent the day before camp searching proper clothes for the week as I do not want to appear as someone without any credibility.

Requirements:
Formal wear:
Shirts, slacks and black shoes for male participants, baju kurung/ blouses and slacks + black shoes for female participants.

Sports wear:
Collared shirt, trackpants and sport shoes for the former
Long-sleeved shirts, trackpants and sport shoes for the latter.

Nightwear:
Something comfortable but decent, in case of emergencies. The nights really mollify me after a hectic day. It's quite chilly yet comfy, lie natural air-conditioner.

Don't forget other essentials and never fear, you'll definitely receive the same thing as I did together with the letter from your sponsors.

During camp:

Day 1:
The buses from Shah Alam arrived at KBN Meru, Klang after 1400hrs, even though everyone was informed to be at the meeting point by 1300hrs. Well, I'd rather not elaborate further about that matter.

Upon our advern, we left out things outside and assembled in the hall and had a briefing. We were introduced to all of the jurulatihs or I prefer to call them our guardians. Then we were divided into groups of 10-12 people to be in the same room/dorm.  We received 1 pack of bedsheet, pillowcase and fleece blanket. I advise you to bring along your pillows as I folded my bath towel as a substitute for my pillow. If you get what I mean.

I ensure that you'll have 6 repasts a day: breakfast, brunch, lunch, teatime, dinner and supper during this camp. you can also go for seconds or more if you are very hungry. Besides, everything has been paid for so, use all the utilities wisely.

That night we had our first lecture aka Wacana Minda 1: Gagasan 1Malaysia-Perspektif Umum in which I find quite interesting since I'm quite ignorant about these kind of matters.

Curfew depends on the last slot of the day, whether it ends early or not.

Day 2:

In the morning we had to assemble and did some marching. Continued with another 3 lectures/speeches:
Wacana Minda 2: Gagasan 1 Malaysia- Ke Arah Negara Maju, Wacana Minda 3: Perlembagaan dan Isu-Isu Semasa, Wacana Minda 4: Sesi Perkongsian Pengalaman.

I find the 4th session seems the best among the other 3 since I was able to relate the whole topic easily compared to the other 3 which seems to be something new (not that new) to me. Despite all that, I gained a lot from all of the 4 sessions.

In the evening we assembled and did some exercises
That night we started with the first PKPK (Perkongsian Keilmuan Peningkatan Kesedaran) session where we met all the facilitators. The first task was Ujian Kepantasan: 17 questions in 4 minutes. All you have to do is scan and skim through all the questions and you'll be able to do it. Next was, as usual, group formation, there were 10 groups and I was in Group 5 and Brother Bob was our facilitator. each group was assigned with one patriotic song which was to be performed during the night before the big day(I'll mention about this in a while). Group 5 was assigned Tanggal 31 song. We didn't meet our facilitators since it was almost curfew.

Day 3:

Had PKPKs, more like class sessions with group discussions about important matters the whole day, plus the morning assembly and evening recreation.

Day 4:

PKPK till evening and for recreation activity was mini jungle trekking, it's actually just a nice stroll in the woods, for 20 minutes with the guide of our guardians. For the night PKPK session each group performed our songs and were assessed based on our vocals, uniformity and feel of the song.

After all the fun, things started to get serious, which to me was expected since I attend quite a lot of camps. I'd like not to elaborate further about that, you need to experience that yourselves. I can say that I was able to relate the whole situation with the situation that our ancestors experienced a long time ago.

Day 5:

The big day. After 4 days of lectures, class and group discussion, we had to sit for an hour,40-question exam based on what we had learned throughout the week. If you pay attention to all the WMs and PKPKs you'll do fine.

I guess I'll stop here just in case I gave too much info about the whole thing. I really gained a lot and this program did increase my awareness about a lot of issues.

I'd like to apologize to Brother Bob on behalf of the group as we tried our best not to fall asleep during class and unfortunately some of us were defeated. I tried various methods to keep myself awake as a respect gesture to Brother Bob and I can say I managed to do so. I guess everyone was super exhausted with the disrupted sleep cycle plus the non-stop activities.

All the best to the next batch who will be attending this camp. Grab this once in a lifetime experience, besides it's one of your sponsor's requirements so you can't do much unless you have super valid reasons.

Spring Break 2012 Day 7.

Greetings beloved readers! I'm back from Kem Bina Negara Meru, Klang for Program Transformasi Mahasiswa Ke Luar Negara by Biro Tatanegara under Jabatan Perdana Menteri. Won't talk much for now since it has been somewhat hectic for the past 5 days. I'm grateful that I gained a lot from that program. Still having second thoughts of sharing my experience here about the whole thing since people have their own stand about a certain matter and they might misinterpret. I'll decide later.

I wonder what did I miss for the past 5 days?

The good news: Summer Semester 2012 starts on Wednesday! Extra 5 days for Spring Break 2012. Whoopdeedoo! Le tomes, I'll be spending quality time with you.

This song just mollifies your soul. I put it on replay whenever I feel tense.

Melancholy.

Let's take this moment to wind back time and look at the past maybe the present and the future.
Lights off, melancholic mood and somnolent-ness on. It may seem pathetic but just bear with me. Here goes.

I'm sorry for being an introvert.

I'm sorry for not saying hi to you.

I'm sorry if I forgot/ didn't thank you.

I'm sorry if I let your hopes down.

I'm sorry if I turn out like what you didn't expect.

I'm sorry for forgetting the things you remembered.

I'm sorry if I didn't appreciate your existence all this while.

I'm sorry for making a mess.

I'm sorry if I didn't hear you.

I'm sorry for having my earphones/headphones on almost all the time.

I'm sorry if I appear/ am ignorant.

I'm sorry if I appear never to be interested in anything you do.

I'm sorry if I didn't open up to you.

I'm sorry for having my own hideout in school.

I'm sorry for not knowing on what to expect.

I'm sorry for not realizing your non-stop efforts are  for my own benefit.

I'm sorry if I wasn't around when you needed me.

I"m sorry for pretending to not care about you.

I'm sorry for not understanding your situation.

I'm sorry for laughing at you.

I'm sorry for not letting you know that I still care.

I'm sorry for not showing that I still take care of you as usual even though from afar.

I'm sorry for not making any efforts to keep in touch with you.

I'm sorry for not being around on your special day.

I'm sorry for not smiling.

I'm sorry for being impassive.

I'm sorry if I spoke too soft until you can't hear me.

I'm sorry for procrastinating.

I'm sorry for being irresponsible.

I'm sorry for pretending.

I'm sorry for not letting you know the truth.

I'm sorry for not being around at all times.

I'm sorry if I didn't replay your texts and/or calls.

I'm sorry for not sharing.

I'm sorry for being selfish.

I'm sorry if I'm a coward.

I'm sorry for hiding my talents.

I'm sorry if  I never bother about you when you always do.

I'm sorry for not saying sorry.

I'm sorry for not forgetting you.

I'm sorry if I can't/ didn't live up to your standards.

I'm sorry for not paying attention.

This applies to each and everyone of you who came into my life and made it more meaningful. You may judge me since I'm only a kid.
Last but not least,

I'm sorry for wasting your time.

Spring Break 2012 Day 2.

Well, hello there. The second day of spring break is coming to an end. This means that I'm off for another camp tomorrow.

So I spent (a big part of) the day going around the area searching for things for the week. I even dragged along le guardian (and vice versa) for my second round to find things for camp. Thank you le guardian for doing so and letting me chill out at your pad for the evening.

While I was on my way back after buying dinner, I saw vehicles coming to the residential college but I'm grateful and obliged to say that I didn't feel a thing because those kids, whom their parents and family members sent back are having their second semester final examinations next week and I'm on spring break minus the part where I have to attend camp

As usual, procrastinating to pack and I'm loving my 6 pair of new socks, even though I haven't tried them on.

Therefore, I look forward to come back by the end of the week. All the best to all participants, may we have a great time together and gain a lot of useful things.

P.s All the best to all A-Level exam candidates for your study week. Utilize all the time you have wisely.

Spring Break 2012 Day 1.

Guten tag! Spring semester 2012 has ended and we (ADFPs) are having our 1 week spring break before le Summer semester 2012 starts. The good/not-so-good news is that a group of us will be attending BTN (Biro Tatanegara) on Monday till Friday. Enough of that.

I spent the whole day lazying around since I didn't get to do so for a long time. Unfortunately, I can only do so for 1.5 hours and I started to read the tomes that I bought 10 days ago and did some Spring cleaning. Yay!

So much of calling today was my lazy day.

I hadn't laugh properly for quite some time and this made my day. Don't misjudge me for watching this movie.

For those who haven't watch it, here's something about this scene.

The lady in yellow was insisted by the old lady to chant as a virtue to thank the universe, since the lady in yellow had no idea on what to chant, in the end she started chanting, or rapping/singing, actually, the song that I've heard when I played Need For Speed: Underground on PS2 years back.

P.s I didn't watch this clip since I randomly selected this clip from the list.

P.p.s It may be inappropriate to some viewers.

Blogging In The Dark.

I was about to start with with this post when the power came back. So blogpost title- EPIC fail.

Happy birthday to le blogger, guitarist, neighbor and most importantly, friend. We are now of the same age! Yay! All the best in your journey to make your dreams and imaginations a reality. Thank you for coloring my life.

So, I didn't get to experience blogging in the dark. Well, that's a good thing or else I'll be entertaining myself with the internet instead of utilizing the time during pre-Spring 2012 Finals.

Should I? INTEC UiTM, JPA, MARA, UPU, FORM 6, MATRICS 2012

Greetings people of the Blogger world, and also the internet. Straight to the point. Should I somehow advertise/ give info about International Education College (INTEC) UiTM, Seksyen 17, Shah Alam? Should I do it? or Should I wait for some people to Google it and somehow my blog will appear on page 1 of the search list and they'll comment (asking questions) on any posts on INTEC that I posted last semester? I was in the mood to do so but I was distracted with my new birthday presents that I bought 2 days ago during Devillish Denver's outing with The Voice in KL.

Oops, I digressed-again. Therefore, Should I do it? Since it's the season, where post-secondary school kids go searching for institutions to further their studies and live their dreams.

To be frank,  I don't mind promoting INTEC, but Spring 2012 Finals is next week. I do hope I will receive some feedback and I'll try my best to promote INTEC whenever I have the time. I'll be glad and obliged to help you out, no worries, I eat food, not blog readers.

P.s Don't mind the title of this post, it's just another scam way to help people out since I have the first-hand experience and I'm willing to share it with the world.
